ammusing night

well it was just one of those nights. nothing wanted to go right. but in a funny sort of way. for me anyway.
we came in to a order set up and ready to run but not started yet. good thing too cause the first thing i notice since i was feeding was that one of the big bold faced words, heartburn was spelled "haartburn" woooooooopsy!
so we pull the order.
we get a new order. its the wrong order for what we want.
so we get rid of that order before filling the loaders (thank god!)
so we get another order. one sig (section of pages) is still being run on the press. a few hours later its finnally brought to us and we fill the big ass loaders, take probably another hour or more setting the thing up and getting it ready to run. its ready. guess what? they were made wrong. my machine is a stitcher. it means the sigs go inside each other and are stapled togehter. these sigs were made for perfect bound machines which means they lay on top of each other and are glued together. shit.
so we pull this order off too.
i start work at 7pm ya'll. we finnally got a order that wasnt wrong in any way on the machine and going about 4 AM!!!!

after about an hour the machine fucked up. "mail delivery table jam" which is bad bad news. it did that about 3 times and we didnt get more then a pallet (which we had to restack beacues soooomeone forgot to put a wodden pallet under hte plastic skid) out all night long. 12 hours for one stinking pallet!

so how was your night?
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee beep!
